In Moadim Illuminated, veteran mechanech Rabbi Reuven Levine, author of the popular Shamor V’zachor Illuminated, takes readers—both tweens/teens and adults—by the hand and walks them through the halachos and minhagim of each and every Yom Tov. From Elul, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkos, through Tishah B’Av, readers are introduced to the background of each Yom Tov, and then the actual laws and customs pertaining to them, all in a comprehensive yet simplified manner.

Each concept is fully illustrated, and the text is color-coded in a way that enhances the reader’s understanding and retention of the material. Also included is a “test yourself” section, which quizzes readers on what the halachah is in various situations, based on the information they’ve been given.

Ideal for parents and kids to learn together, this illustrated guide to the halachos of each Yom Tov will fast become a family favorite!
