The human soul, comprised of many layers, is entered through the process of self-recognition and actualization. To live properly, we must serve the Creator and fulfill His mitzvos, and build a proper lifestyle which will fill us with vitality and joy. It is upon us to turn inward, and to live in harmony with our self, with others, and with our Creator. The way to get there is through the practical inner work of actualizing the soul, in a way that is structured, fundamental, encompassing, and consistent. Note-taking and journaling is em-
phasized to raise our self-awareness and get us in touch with our internal world.

Although the main purpose of this book is to give practical guidance on how to attain self-recognition and actualization, this book also serves as the introductory volume to
the “Bilvavi Four Elements” approach based purely on Torah and Chazal. It is a practical, hands-on outcome of the teachings that have been explained in the last two decades in the sefarim and shiurim of the author of “Bilvavi Mishkan Evneh.”
